Scholarships

Chisnallwood offers three scholarships annually to students in Year Seven.  These scholarships aim to encourage and reward academic effort and all round achievement.  Each entitles the recipient to have all school, technicraft and stationery fees paid as well as the cost of a school uniform, up to a maximum of $400.

Principal's Scholarship

This scholarship is offered to a student demonstrating genuine interest in his or her own learning.  The award will be made on information from the contributing school plus an interview with the final applicants.

Academic Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to the student demonstrating the greatest academic potential, and will involved sitting a series of tests and exercises.

Music Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student keen to participate in Music at Chisnallwood, who shows notable ability and potential. Prospective students may be called and asked for an audition.

Applications

Application forms for scholarships are available from the School Office.  Applications for 2012 must be submitted by 2 September 2011.
